On this page you will find an overview of the treatments offered at our centre.

PET-Scan

In a PET scan, the energy released by a radioactive tracer that is injected into the body is detected. As soon as the tracer is injected into a vein, it travels through the body and accumulates in certain areas, e.g. in the organs, tissues or cells to be examined.

Thyroid

The thyroid gland is an organ in the front of the neck that produces hormones that regulate the body's metabolism. These hormones play a crucial role in many bodily functions, including heart rate, body temperature and the way the body utilises energy.

Scintigraphy

Scintigraphy is a nuclear medicine examination method. Weakly radioactively labelled substances are used to visualise processes and structures in the body. There are different types of scintigraphy or nuclear medicine imaging tests.

Breath test

In a PET scan, the energy released by a radioactive tracer that is injected into the body is detected. As soon as the tracer is injected into a vein, it travels through the body and accumulates in certain areas, e.g. in the organs, tissues or cells to be examined.
